Terms and conditions

  1. Program Details
  The U11 Academy is a 6-week development program conducted by Redlands Netball Association from Tuesday 28 July to Tuesday 1 September.
  
  Program Schedule:
  • 4:30pm – Registration
  • 4:45pm – 5:15pm Fitness Session
  • 5:15pm – 6:15pm Skill Development Session
  
  Location:
  Redlands Netball Association, Cleveland.
  
  Academy Carnival:
  There will also be a carnival held on Sunday 30 August at SCNA. Further details, including times and format, will be confirmed closer to the date.
  
  2. Eligibility The Academy is open to players in the U11 age group born in 2015. Places are limited to 50 and registrations will be accepted on a first-paid basis.
  
  3. Registration and Payment
  The program fee is $60 per participant.
  Registration is not confirmed until payment has been received.
  Fees are non-transferable.
  
  4. Refund Policy
  No refunds will be provided once the program has commenced, except in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of Redlands Netball Association Management Committee.
  Missed sessions due to illness, injury, holidays or other commitments are not eligible for refunds or make-up sessions.
  
  5. Attendance
  Participants are expected to attend all sessions where possible. If a participant is unable to attend a session, parents/guardians should notify the Program Coordinator.
  
  6. Medical Conditions and Injuries
  Parents/guardians must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, injuries or other relevant health information during registration.
  
  By registering, parents/guardians confirm that:
  • Their child is physically able to participate in netball and fitness activities.
  • Redlands Netball Association has been advised of any medical conditions that may affect participation.
  • Emergency medical treatment may be sought if a parent/guardian cannot be contacted.
  
  7. Photography and Media Consent
  Redlands Netball Association may take photographs and videos during Academy sessions for promotional, marketing, social media and club communications purposes.
  
  By registering, parents/guardians consent to the use of images and video footage of their child unless they advise Redlands Netball Association in writing prior to the commencement of the program.
  
  8. Behaviour Expectations
  Participants are expected to:
  • Treat coaches, officials, volunteers and fellow players with respect.
  • Follow instructions from coaches and Academy staff.
  • Demonstrate good sportsmanship at all times.
  
  Redlands Netball Association reserves the right to remove a participant from the program if their behaviour is deemed unsafe, disruptive or contrary to the values of the Association. No refund will be provided in these circumstances.
  
  9. Cancellation or Program Changes
  Redlands Netball Association reserves the right to:
  • Alter session times, coaching personnel or program content if required.
  • Cancel sessions due to extreme weather, venue issues or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Cancel the program if minimum participant numbers are not achieved.
  
  Where possible, participants will be notified of any changes as soon as practical.
  
  10. Liability Waiver
  Participation in netball and fitness activities involves an element of risk.
  
  By registering, parents/guardians acknowledge and accept these risks and agree that Redlands Netball Association, its coaches, volunteers and officials will not be held liable for any injury, loss or damage sustained as a result of participation, except where required by law.
  
  11. Parent/Guardian Agreement
  By completing registration, parents/guardians acknowledge that they have read, understood and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
